Dismissed – Domestic Assault and Battery

Our client was charged with Assault and Battery on a Family/Household Member. We did our own investigation into the charge by talking to multiple witnesses who backed up our client’s version of events. In addition, we obtained photos and multiple police reports. With this information, we decide to select a trial date to force the Government to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt. On the day of trial, the Government was not ready for trial. We asked the case be dismissed and the judge agreed with our motion. Therefore, the judge dismissed the charge.
