Dismissed and Sealed – Vandalism Rhode Island

February, 2021

Our client was charged with Vandalism in Rhode Island. Vandalism is a property crime that is a misdemeanor in Rhode Island. The potential penalties for Vandalism in Rhode Island are the following: misdemeanor criminal conviction, up to one year in jail, up to $1,000 in fine, potential restitution to the alleged victim, and/or potential community service.

We were able to present information to the prosecutor and convince the prosecution to dismiss the charge against our client.

After the charge was dismissed, we filed a Motion to Seal to have the charges sealed and taken off of our client’s record. Our Motion was allowed so the charges are now sealed.
