Dismissed and Sealed – Domestic Assault, Domestic Vandalism, Domestic Disorderly Conduct Rhode Island

Our client was charged with Domestic Simple Assault, Domestic Vandalism and Domestic Disorderly Conduct in Rhode Island. These are all misdemeanors, but the domestic element of them adds extra penalties.

We did our own investigation into the charges, and, as a result, we were able to uncover new information to bring to the prosecutor’s attention. The prosecutor decided to dismiss the charges. The charges of Domestic Simple Assault, Domestic Vandalism and Domestic Disorderly Conduct were all dismissed.

Our client was eligible to seal these charges. We filed a Motion to Seal. Our Motion was allowed and the charges were sealed, which preserved our client’s criminal record.
