Negligent Operation Dismissed Prior to Arraignment

Our client was charged with Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle in Massachusetts. Negligent Operation is a misdemeanor criminal offense that has the potential of having your license suspended. It also has potential penalties of potential jail, possible probation, a criminal conviction on your criminal record and fines and fees.

Our client was scheduled to appear for an Arraignment. We spoke to the prosecutor and brought mitigating information to the prosecutor about the circumstances of the allegation. As a result of our conversation with the prosecutor, we came to an agreement to dismiss the charges prior to our client’s Arraignment.

Therefore, the charges were dismissed against our client and helped them avoid a criminal record.
