Felony Motion to Expunge Allowed in Rhode Island

April, 2024

Our client had an old felony conviction for Driving Under the Influence and Reckless Driving that our client wanted expunged. A felony motion to expunge is a request to remove a felony conviction from an individual’s criminal record.

We determined that our client was eligible to file a Motion to Expunge their charges. The case was scheduled for a hearing and our attorney’s demonstrated to the judge that our client had met all the requirements for expungement. As a result, the judge granted the Motion to Expunge, which helped clear up our client’s criminal record.

This was a big relief for our client to help move on from this time in their life.
