Leaving the Scene of Property Damage and Negligent Operation Massachusetts – Pretrial Probation

April, 2023

Our client was charged with leaving the scene of property damage and negligent operation of a motor vehicle in Massachusetts. Both of these are criminal offenses in Massachusetts that can result in jail, probation, and a possible license suspension.

We reviewed the evidence in the case and looked into the facts and circumstances of what happened. We were able to present mitigating evidence to the prosecutor. As a result, the prosecutor agreed to a diversion disposition that would allow our client to get the charges dismissed. Our client was put on pretrial probation and did not have to admit to the charges. This helped preserve their license and criminal record.
