Dismissed – Illegal Search of Marijuana

Description: My client was walking down the street at night. The police stopped him and demanded to see his hands and search him. Client told the police he did not want to and wanted to go home. The police then searched him and found multiple bags of marijuana. We filed a motion to suppress the search in violation of his 4th amendment rights. After a hearing where the police officer testified, the judge granted our motion agreeing it was an illegal search due to no reasonable suspicion of a crime. The case was dismissed against the client.
