Disorderly Conduct – Dismissed and Sealed

August, 2021

Our client was charged with Disorderly Conduct in Rhode Island. Disorderly Conduct is a misdemeanor criminal offense in Rhode Island. It has potential penalties of a fine, probation, jail, and/or having a criminal record.

We did our own investigation into the allegations. We were able to speak with witnesses and obtain video footage. As a result of our own investigation and bringing this evidence to the attention of the prosecutor, the charge of Disorderly Conduct was dismissed against our client.

As a result of the dismissal, we decided to file a Motion to Seal in Rhode Island. This was to help preserve our client’s criminal record. As a result of our Motion, the charge was sealed and taken off our client’s BCI.

Therefore, the charge of Disorderly Conduct was dismissed and sealed.
