Dismissed – Possession with Intent/Conspiracy

January, 2018

Outcome: Dismissed

Description: Client was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and conspiracy to violate the drug laws after a motor vehicle stop. The police found marijuana, a scale, plastic bags and money in the passenger’s back pack under her seat. My client was the driver. We filed a motion to dismiss the charges based on a lack of probable cause after a review of case law. The judge granted the motion and the charges were dismissed.
