Indecent Exposure Dismissed in Massachusetts

October, 2023

Our client was charged with two counts of Indecent Exposure in Massachusetts. Massachusetts General Law Chapter 272 Section 53 states that a person convicted of Indecent Exposure shall be punished by the following:

  • imprisonment in jail or house of corrections for no more than 6 months
  • fine of no more than $200
  • both imprisonment or fine
  • criminal conviction and/or probation

Following a thorough discussion with our client and after we obtained documents, we began building our defense strategy. After multiple court dates and discussion with the prosecutor, we decided to put the case on for trial. On the day of the trial the charges were dismissed for insufficient evidence. As a result, our client did not have to face any to the potential consequences associated with this charge.
