No Complaint Issued at Clerk Magistrates Hearing for an Airport Security Violation
June 2023
Our client received a Summons for a Clerk Magistrate's Hearing in Massachusetts for an Airport Security Violation, which is a felony criminal offense under Massachusetts General Laws c 269 § 12(f).
After an in-depth discussion with our client, we began to build our defense strategy by performing our own internal investigation into the matter and obtained documents. We presented our argument to not issue the complaint based on the facts and circumstances of the case and our client's life.
As a result of our argument, the Clerk Magistrate held the complaint open with conditions -- if our client does those conditions, a complaint will not issue and our client will avoid having a criminal record.
