Our client received a Summons for a Clerk Magistrate's Hearing in Massachusetts for Shoplifting and Receiving Stolen Property.

At the hearing, we made arguments on our client's behalf, presented our own evidence, and explained the circumstances of what happened. The Clerk Magistrate agreed with our arguments, did not issue a complaint and set the case down for a further date. If our client has no new violation in that time the case will be dismissed. This will preserve our client's criminal record.
