Our client received an Application of Complaint for a Clerk Magistrate's Hearing in Massachusetts for Negligent Operating of a Motor Vehicle. This is a misdemeanor offense in Massachusetts that can result in jail time, a criminal record and a potential license suspension. 

At the hearing, we made arguments on our client's behalf, presented our own evidence, and explained the circumstances of what happened. As a result, the Clerk Magistrate did not issue the complaint. This meant our client did not have to face the criminal charges going forward, and they did not have a criminal record from this incident.
