License Suspension Reduced at Massachusetts RMV Board of Appeal
May 2021
Our client had their license suspended for one year by the RMV for an out of state OUI conviction. We decided to appeal this suspension to the RMV's Board of Appeals and asked to reduce his license suspension.
We appeared before the RMV Board of Appeals. We argued that our client's license suspension was excessive. We wrote a memorandum for the Board stating the legal and factual reasons why it was not justified in this case. After making oral arguments, the Board decided to take it under advisement.
The RMV Board of Appeals agreed with our argument and reduced the suspension to a 45-day suspension, fulfilled on time served. Our client was now free to drive and the license was reinstated.
