Our client was charged with traffic violations in Rhode Island after getting into a motor vehicle accident. Our client was charged with Laned Roadway Violation, Operator Left of Center and Operating Without Insurance in the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal. 

We decided to select a trial date on the case. At trial, the prosecution and police had to bring in the witnesses and evidence to prove the charges by clear and convincing evidence. 

On the day of trial, the prosecution did not have the evidence needed to prove the charges. As a result, we requested the charges be dismissed. The Judge dismissed the charges of Laned Roadway Violation, Operator Left of Center and Operating Without Insurance.
