Our client was charged with speeding and laned roadway violation and fourth offense within an 18 month period in which the court could have revoked his license for up to two years plus additional penalties under the Colin Foote Statute. Our client went to court and the judge told them they were going to institute Colin Foote penalties against our client. Our client then selected a trial date and hired us. After obtaining our own evidence and looking into the legal issues of the case, we successfully argued that the Colin Foote statute did not apply and our client's license was not suspended.
